That's right, adult contempory pop artist Reuben D Rusk has finally started recording his songs for his 3 albums he has planned. So far he's only done one, and it will be good when he starts another to hear a different 4 bars eminating from his room for ohours on end.
Angry Boy Music
Grrr, Far flung Island in the pacific, we miss out on lots of good concerts. Pillar and Project 86 are touring the States together from September 21 trhought to novemeber sometime. Kinda funny thought that project are opening for pillar, when I've been following project for a lot longer.
However
September 20. Mark that date, etch it in to your brain. It's the date the headline acts for parachute 2005 will be announced. See my next post for a competition related to that.
Samstock
Also in september (24-26) is the South Islands premiere Christian Music festival in the village of Mosgiel. Confirmed that I know of are Moped (Reggae Rock), Falter (Last year's rockquest champs) Straightline (drummer form late 80's mercedes acoustic funk band), Zebulun (nu-metal angry stuff) and disarm (if you're reading this you've probably met them) $25 bucks if you book this month, otherwise $39. Go to samstock.org.nz and have a look. They even have optional cabins this year!!!!!
Emo
New further seems forever album is out in the states. Shouldn't be too long before it comes out here. Rumor has it dead poetic's latest is real good, haven't listened to it myself yet, If I do I'll probably want to go out and buy it.
Speaking of buying it, This is Solid State volume four is out, featuring a CD and a DVD of emo/Screamo hardcore and metal. all for $25 bucks at superstore. Haven't checked for it at Manna yet. Probably will get it soon.
