As I mentioned in my last post, The headline acts for Parachute 2005 will be announced on september 20.
Accordingly, I thought I would get line up ideas from anyone who wishes to share.
I'm asking for five artists (New Zealand and International) that you would suggest as headliners for parachute 05. If you're feeling super spiritual you might like to suggest a speaker too (not one of your five).
The five should try to include at least one Hip hop/Rap/ Urban style artist, at least one artist your 13 year old sister would like if she was told to, and at least one frenzied mosh pit act.
In the first week of term I will give chocolate to the person who suggests what I deem "the best" line up and to the person who suggests what I deem "the funniest" suggested lineup... Get creative.
Also, when the real lineup is announced, there will be more chocolate for anyone who picked it.
You may enter more than once, but you may not use any of the same artists in two entries by the same person.
You may use artists that other people have suggested, as long as your total line up is not the same.
I look forward to seeing some ideas, to get the chocolate you will need to be able to arrange to meet me at uni during the first week of term, but if you can't- you can still give your suggestions.

I think this should keep *most* people happy :) Not to mention they're mostly bands that haven't been to Parachute before, or at least not in a while. As much as I like bands like Paul Colman Trio (which no longer exists awww....) - some new acts would be really cool.
I think I'm missing a really cool hip-hop group, but TFK have been known to bust out honky-white-boy rhymes :)
